Today at our Team Rally, we celebrated Habit 6: Synergize by coming together, working as a team, and recognizing that we are stronger when we combine our ideas, talents, and efforts. It was a great reminder that amazing things happen when we work together!

Shout out to our amazing Bulldog Learners and Teacher Leaders!  WYE was honored once again for high achievement in Mathematics by PRiME Center through Saint Louis University. This is a tremendous accomplishment. Each year, the PRiME Center recognizes the top-performing schools in Missouri for student growth, and our school stands among the very best! 

Summer School Enrollment is open. Enroll your child in the Blue Springs School District (BSSD) Summer School Program June 1st – June 25th. Parents of children that are incoming kindergarteners through 5th grade should enroll their child through the Parent Portal (under Forms, Summer School 2026). Blue Springs School District - Summer School Be sure to sign up by April 24th to reserve your spot!  To sign up your child, Blue Springs School District - Summer School Click on this form to sign up for summer school and to get more information regarding Prime Time Summer Journey. 
A few quick details
  • Locations: FSE, JLE, JNE, TUE, VSE, WBE and WYE
  • Incoming Kindergarten thru current 4th graders
  • Current 5th graders will attend PKMS
  • Dates: June 1st – June 25th , no school on June 19th
  • Times –Elementary– 8:20am to 3:30pm; PKMS– 7:55am to 3:05pm
  • Transportation is NOT provided

Habit 6 Leaders of the Month

We celebrated Habit 6: Synergize by highlighting the power of teamwork and how great things happen when we work together.

Habit 6 Family Activity

Together is Better. Pick a date this month to Synergize as a family. Ask your family to think about a certain issue and bring their ideas to a family meeting. Creatively work together on a Synergy Plan.
