A huge thank you to all our families who joined us for our Kindergarten and 2nd grade Career Day today. We especially want to celebrate the amazing parents who made Career Day so special by sharing their careers with our students. Your time, and involvement help make WYE and Bulldog Nation such a fun, connected, and supportive place to learn and grow!
Next week we begin the MAP! 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be taking the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP), a test that will assess their proficiency in certain skills specified by the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education. The MAP Test is a web-based, computer test that is taken over multiple days in sessions. Please encourage your child to get plenty of sleep and to have a healthy breakfast. Let your child know you are proud of their efforts to do their best and not to worry, we are so proud of them.
Testing Dates for students:
- 5th Grade and 4th Grade ELA: April-14th, 15th, 16th, 17th (4th grade only)
- 5th Grade Math and 3rd Grade ELA: April 21st, 22nd, 23rd
- 4th Grade Math and 3rd Grade Math: April 28th, April 29th, April 30th
- 5th Grade Science: April 30th and May 1st
We will begin testing in the AM starting at 9:25 each day. During our testing schedule we flip flop our special class time to allow for extended time for all our test takers. Our 3rd, 4th and 5th will have special classes in the afternoon and K, 1st and 2nd will have special class in the morning.

Parents of children that are incoming kindergarteners through 5th grade should enroll their child through the Parent Portal (under Forms, Summer School 2026).
