BSSD Community Unity WYE
Hello Bulldog Families,
Every year, Blue Springs School District comes together for Community Unity Week, a district-wide effort to support families in need throughout our community. During this week, BSSD schools collect food, household items, and monetary donations for the Blue Springs Community Services League.
At WYE, we are proud to be part of this effort and generally collect around 2,000 items each year! Our community continues to have a significant need for assistance, and this is a wonderful opportunity for Bulldog Nation to come together and help restock the shelves for local families.
Community Unity Week will take place September 8–11. Students may bring in dry goods, canned food items, and other donations throughout the week. Bring in items AND dress up! For each day a student brings in a donation, they are invited to participate in that day’s special Spirit Week theme.

We’ll also have a little friendly competition:
- Top Class: Snack Pizza Party
- Top Grade Level: 20 minutes of extra recess
