An amazing first full five days of school this week!
Bulldog Highlight: Our 4th graders became math detectives, solving a fun place value mystery using clues and base-ten blocks to crack the case!
Across the building, all Bulldogs have begun beginning-of-the-year assessments to help us get to know each student academically and provide the best support for their success.
Next week Sept. 8th-11th, WYE will join the BSSD's Community Unity Week to help support local families through donations to the Blue Springs Community Services League. Students are encouraged to bring donation items, participate in Spirit Week dress-up days, and help show the power of Bulldog Nation working together for our community.
Bulldog information and reminders:
- If your student’s transportation changes, please inform the teacher and the office prior to 3:30 so we can all plan accordingly and ensure getting this information to your student. The office is very busy at the end of the school day.

- Bulldog Community helpers! Difference Makers is a Blue Springs School District mentoring initiative that connects K-5 students with caring adult volunteers. Difference Makers mentors are positive role models who give their time, energy, and talent to build positive relationships with students and to promote student literacy.
