WYE collected 2,559 items during Community Unity Week! Thank you to our students, families, and staff for showing up, and giving generously! 2,559 items = 2,559 reasons to be proud to be a Bulldog! A big shout-out to Ms. Borchers' class for bringing in the most donated items, and to our 4th grade students for leading the school in overall contributions!
A WYE First! One outstanding Bulldog has become the first student in William Yates Elementary history to read all 12 Mark Twain books and complete a report for each one, accomplishing this amazing feat in just the first 14 days of school. Wowsa! Congratulation Kaius Smith !

Due to the generosity of many local organizations and the collaborative efforts of the Gallon of Gratitude challenge, William Yates Elementary is able to assist some families that are experiencing hardships this holiday season. Snow Day & AMI Update: BSSD may use up to six AMI (At-Home Learning) days for the school year for weather-related closures. Your Bulldog student brought home their AMI packet today, so please keep it in a safe place in case an AMI day is needed. Families will receive closure notifications and instructions through ParentSquare and district communication channels.
Starting September 28th, all elementary schools will allow visitors to eat lunch with their students. All
lunch visitors will sign up on Parent Square. MUST have a background check on file as well:
